Section No. 1

THE CLIENT'S NEED

For a service-based business, a company vehicle can be one of its most visible advertising tools. Nose to Toes Professional Dog Grooming wanted its Volkswagen ID. Buzz to immediately communicate the business name, service offering & contact information while maintaining a clean design that suited the unique styling of the vehicle. Rather than covering the entire vehicle, the wrap was designed around the existing white upper section of the Volkswagen, allowing the original two-tone appearance to become part of the finished branding.

THE VEHICLE WRAP DESIGN

The lower portion uses a custom printed blue treatment developed to coordinate with the vehicle’s existing blue paint. A gradient was incorporated into the colour scheme to help the printed graphics transition naturally across the different panels & contours.

The finished design incorporates:
• Nose to Toes branding
• Professional Dog Grooming identification
• Business phone number
• Paw-print graphics
• Bubble pattern
• Dog silhouette graphics
• Custom blue colour treatment
• Gradient effects incorporated into the wrap

The branding was carried across both sides of the vehicle as well as the front & rear lower sections, creating a consistent appearance from multiple viewing angles.

PRINTING & MATERIALS

The vehicle graphics were printed by Elevated Signs using Arlon SLX wrap vinyl and laminated for added protection.

The printed colour was developed to work closely with the existing blue paint on the vehicle, helping the wrapped areas blend naturally with the original finish rather than appearing like an unrelated graphic layer.

Using a printed wrap also gave us greater control over the gradient, patterns & branding elements than would have been possible using standard solid-colour vinyl alone.

VEHICLE PREPARATION

Before installation, the vehicle was debadged to create cleaner surfaces for the wrap and allow the graphics to flow more naturally across the body.

Proper preparation is an important part of vehicle wrapping because emblems, trim, edges & other vehicle components can interfere with both the appearance and long-term performance of the graphics.

Once the vehicle was prepared, the wrap could be installed panel by panel across the lower body.

Section No. 1

AN INTRICATE FRONT INSTALLATION

One of the more technical areas of this project was the lower front section of the Volkswagen ID. Buzz.

Unlike a simple flat bumper or body panel, the front includes numerous openings, recesses & detailed contours. Applying printed wrap material through this area required careful positioning, trimming & finishing around each opening while maintaining the overall colour and graphic treatment.

This type of installation is considerably more involved than applying graphics to a large flat vehicle panel.

The completed front treatment allows the blue wrap to continue around the vehicle rather than stopping abruptly at the side panels.

THE FINISHED RESULT

The completed partial wrap turns the Volkswagen ID. Buzz into a highly visible branded vehicle for Nose to Toes Professional Dog Grooming.

The bright blue lower section, white upper body, bold business identification & playful paw- print graphics make the vehicle easy to recognize while travelling or parked throughout Brantford.

More importantly, the vehicle now functions as ongoing mobile advertising for the business, displaying the company name, service & phone number everywhere it travels.

From concept development through design, printing, lamination, debadging & final installation, Elevated Signs completed the vehicle graphics project from start to finish.
