Don’t be afraid to switch vendors

Switching Vendors
Although Elevated Signs Inc. is relatively new to the market, we are by no means new to the industry. We have over 60+ years of combined graphic / signage knowledge and experience under our collective belt.

Having worked in the signage industry for quite some time, we have noticed that a lot of companies tend to stay with vendors they know — especially corporate chains.

We understand that the tender process for new vendors takes time and that you want to be able to rely on someone to fulfill your orders. You have a pretty good working relationship with them, and for the most part, they are reliable when things go wrong. Corporate accounts are always looking for the company with many years of establishment service and are generally reluctant to go through the effort of sourcing to a newer company in fear they might be a fly-by-night operation.

We hear this all the time: “We are used to working with them, but we’re not happy with the quality of the work.”

Switching Vendors

There is a reason for this; it’s complacency on both sides. The customer does not want to shop around for fear of change, and the signage supplier knows that you won’t leave, so they start to cut corners on materials, not follow brand specifics, and push out time lines.

The best advise we can offer you is try to tender at least every 3-4 years and consider taking on someone new who is eager to service your account. This way you can ensure you are receiving the best product at a competitive price in a timely fashion. More years in business does not necessarily mean better business.

At Elevated Signs Inc., we strive to build lasting relationships with our customers and work to not only meet, but exceed expectations. Because we are a smaller operation with lower overheads and have aligned ourselves with a large selection of new and old suppliers, we are able to offer very competitive pricing, and match the brand standards you require while paying extra attention to your important timeline.

Let us show you our pasts and present accomplishments. We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with both the service and the results.
